Let’s get one thing out of the way first — I don’t really love the word client.

Of course, yeahhh... you’re hiring me as your photographer. But by the end of it? You’re more like a friend. And honestly, that connection is one of the most important parts of the entire experience for me.

I am deeply passionate about creating real, genuine relationships with the people I photograph. I don’t want our time together to feel transactional or awkward or overly posed. I want it to feel comfortable, natural, and easy...like hanging out with someone who just happens to have a camera.

We Start as “Photographer + Client”… and Usually End as Friends (if we aren’t already LOL)

I care a lot about the people who trust me with their stories. So much so that many of my past wedding couples are still a part of my life long after their galleries are delivered.

In 2025, I photographed several out-of-state weddings — Florida, Maine, and beyond — and those couples didn’t just feel like one-time bookings. They became MY people. Friends I still talk to, check in with, and genuinely look forward to seeing again.

In fact, when I travel for weddings in 2026, I already know I’ll be meeting up with past couples again — grabbing coffee, catching up, celebrating new chapters together. That kind of connection doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when you take the time to truly know someone.

Zero Stress. Zero Awkwardness. Truly!!!

You never have to worry about:

• Not knowing how to pose

• Feeling stiff or uncomfortable

• Wondering what to do with your hands

• Feeling like you’re “bad at photos”

My goal is for you to feel so comfortable that you forget you’re even being photographed.

That comfort comes from the relationship we build before the session or wedding day. We talk, we laugh, we connect — and by the time the camera comes out, it just feels natural.

Your Comfort Helps Me Be Creative!!!

Here’s something I don’t think enough photographers talk about:

Your comfort directly impacts the creativity of your photos.

When you feel relaxed and at ease, I feel relaxed and inspired. I’m able to fully lean into my creativity, notice the little moments, and tell your story in a way that feels honest and emotional — not forced.

That’s when the best images happen:

• The quiet in-between moments

• The laughter you didn’t realize was happening

• The emotion you didn’t know showed on your face

Those moments can’t be posed... they have to be felt.

Documentary, Guided, and Human

My approach is documentary at heart, with gentle guidance when you need it. I won’t leave you standing there wondering what to do, but I also won’t over-direct every second. I’ll step in when needed, step back when it matters, and always prioritize you feeling comfortable over getting a “perfect” photo. Because the truth is — the most meaningful images aren’t perfect. They’re real.

And at the End of the Day…

I want you to walk away feeling like:

• You were fully yourself

• You felt seen and comfortable

• You trusted the process

• You enjoyed the experience

And maybe even feeling like you gained a friend along the way.

The photos matter... of course they do. But how you feel while they’re being taken matters just as much.

When you’re comfortable and connected, everything feels easier — and that’s when the most real, meaningful images are created. If you’re looking for a relaxed, low-stress experience that feels genuine from start to finish, I’d love to work with you!
